#30: Medallions (Gold leaf, black, red, green, blue)

This one went through several evolutions, all using a round sponge to create the medallions. Here are the previous versions: 

The original had some interesting things going for it, but was too monochrome. The next version had too little contrast. The final version I quite like, although I somewhat wished for more uniformity.
