#48: The Pit and the Pendulum

Another commission for my friend Neda, this time a different Poe story. Like the Tell-Tale Heart, the crimson here dried to a very convincing blood red. I tried hard to keep the black "interesting" - not just a flat wash of color, but a black that was crawling with texture.
