#49: The Kneeler

With the feast of St. Francis coming up (10/4), I decided to try for an unusual take on a kneeling churchgoer - I took about seven daubs of color, laid them on a sponge, and careful applied the sponge in the shape of a person kneeling. Went pretty well. I laid out a background by dabbing the sponge against the canvas.
