#53: Autumn Spirits

This was my first painting on a clay tablet - what a strange texture, so smooth and without "teeth" for the paint to catch on! The flat orange layer as the base was glassy, and then I applied giant daubs of paint with a palette knife to create a wraith-like effect. I'm not sure the colors play nice together, but it was a worthy experiment in texture.
