#137: Poe series: Mystery of Marie Roget

I had the idea to transform this hard molding paste into a gleaming white skull, with one jaw outlines, some teeth etched in, and the whole thing terrible and veil-like. Then I drew "hair" with a dark violet oxide that I expected to dry to a brown, but didn't. The whole thing is on top of another molding layer of alizarin crimson. Here are the previous stages:
